Pre-School Gymnastics Term Dates - 2023/24
Term 1
Starts Monday 4th September and finishes after gym on Saturday 21st October 2023. (7 weeks)
Re opens on Monday 30th October 2023 and finishes after gym on Thursday 21st December 2023. (8 weeks except Saturdays which is 7 weeks)
Term 2
Starts Saturday 6th January 2024 and finishes after gym on Saturday 10th February 2024. (5 weeks except Saturday which is 6 weeks)
Re opens on Monday 19th February 2024 and finishes after gym on Thursday 28th March 2024. (6 weeks or 5 for those attending a Saturday Class)
Term 3
Starts Saturday 13th April 2024 and closes after gym on Saturday 25th May 2024 (6 weeks or 5 weeks for those who attend on a Monday due to the 6th May being a Bank Holiday / 7 weeks for those who attend a Saturday)
Re opens on Monday 3rd June 2024 and finishes after gym on Saturday 20th July 2024. (7 weeks)
Caterpillars
10 weeks to 2 years
This is a parent involved class for children crawling to walking.
This class encourages young children to learn about the physical world around them through exploration in a safe, fun, relaxed and playful environment. The sessions allow the children to develop muscles and coordination for physical play – preparing the framework for sport as they mature.
Butterflies
This is a parent involved class for children up to age 3 years.
This class is a structured classes for the adult and child to enjoy each others company. Specifically designed to develop necessary motor skills including balance, strength, agility, spatial awareness and much more.
Grasshoppers
This is an Independent class for children up to age 4 years
At this age they’re ready to make a huge leap to joining in classes without mum and dad where gymnastics, physical activity and all aspects of learning are combined with a dose of fun!
Sessions cost £7 per session payable every half term (4-6 weeks). For Grasshoppers (independent class) an additional annual inclusive membership fee of £15 for British Gymnastics pre-school Bronze is payable in order to participate in club activities.
